Designed alongside the Altitude jacket, the Apex endeavors to take you to the very edge of the snow-covered world. Constructed from a rugged 3-layer heavy Oxford shell with a tricot backer, the Apex are entirely seam-sealed to deliver complete protection against the elements. They feature an ergonomic fit for extended range of motion, thigh vents for body-temperature regulation, and reinforced scuff-guard leg openings. Snow gaiters with elastic grippers have been built into the legs to keep unwanted powder from creeping up your legs. Hidden loops around the waist are designed to attach to the Altitude jacket's snow skirt to make it a fully integrated "snowsuit" for use in heavy powder conditions.



The Apex also comes integrated with a RECCO® rescue reflector. The two-part RECCO® Rescue System is used by avalanche rescue teams all over the world and can quickly and accurately lead snow-patrol rescuers to buried avalanche victims. In the event of an avalanche, rescue teams fire an electronic signal into the snow and victims wearing a RECCO® reflector will bounce the signal back to a RECCO® detector, guiding the rescuers to their exact location.
