Incorporating advanced technical features into a more elegant design, the Elevation ski jacket combines practical functionality with a refined sense of style.

It's made with Schoeller®-styletec™ smart fabric with c_change™ technology, which adjusts its level of heat retention and breathability depending upon the conditions. During times of aerobic activity, the fabric's membrane opens to allow heat to escape, while during times of inactivity, the membrane contracts to maximize heat retention. This advanced fabric ensures that you will be comfortably warm going up the hill as well as down.

The Elevation offers a wide range of mountain-ready features including a quilted standing collar with a microfiber liner; a 3-point adjustable hood that's large enough to fit over a helmet; a zipper garage to prevent a cold zipper from pressing against the neck; low-profile, quiet Velcro adjusters; and a liner with thumbholes at the cuffs. To allow for temperature regulation, the Elevation has been outfitted with extended pit zip vents that run up the sides and along the underarms. The subtly integrated zippered hand-warmer pockets and Napoleon pocket offer quick exterior storage, while an interior zippered pocket lets you keep your valuables close to your person. The Elevation also features anchored bottom-hem adjusters that allow you to cinch the bottom opening for a snug fit.

A flat construction snow skirt with gripper tape has been incorporated into the Elevation's design as well. For resort skiing, the snow skirt can be unzipped and removed entirely, while for heavy powder conditions, the skirt can be attached and adjusted to prevent snow from slipping down your backside. In extreme powder conditions, special snapped loops along the back can be attached directly to the Vertex snow pants to create a fully integrated "snowsuit."

The Elevation also comes integrated with a RECCO® rescue reflector. The two-part RECCO® Rescue System is used by avalanche rescue teams all over the world to quickly and accurately locate buried avalanche victims. In the event of an avalanche, rescue teams fire an electronic signal into the snow and victims wearing a RECCO® reflector will bounce the signal back to a RECCO® detector, guiding the rescuers to their exact location.
