The Canyon Motorcycle Jacket was designed for long-haul expedition riding and offers advanced protection with a clean, refined aesthetic.

The Canyon is made using Schoeller®-Dynatec, an abrasion-resistant fabric that has been specifically engineered for motorcyclists. This technical shell fabric has been tested and refined using Schoeller's "Sturzsimulator" crash simulator, which drops fabric against an actual piece of pavement at variable speeds of up to 75 mph. Schoeller®-Dynatec has not only been crash-rated, but its 3-layer construction makes it completely waterproof and breathable. For warm-weather riding, ColdBlack® has been integrated into the garment dye to reduce heat retention caused by sunlight by approximately 10 degrees Fahrenheit. 

For protective padding, we partnered with D3O®, who is far and away the industry leader in shock-absorbing body armor. D3O® pads are malleable when handled at slow speeds, but tighten upon high impact to absorb energy. The Canyon comes with EVO XT pads for the elbows and shoulders and a VIPER PRO XT pad for the back. These pads are CE-certified and completely removable. 

Designed for the specific ergonomics of motorcycle riding, the Canyon has been constructed with articulated elbows and shoulders for ease of movement. A two-way weatherproof front zipper and zippered side-seam gussets allow the wearer to adjust how the bottom hem sits while seated. Pit zip vents let cool air enter the jacket, while back vents allow it to exit. Front Napoleon chest pockets are lined with mesh and can also be opened for ventilation, while an internal velcro pouch keeps contents safely stowed. Dual-entry exterior back pocket allows for storage of large items like gloves. Brushed-tricot lining along the inside of the collar, velcro cuff adjustments, and a zipper garage at the chin add to the Canyon's subtle detail work. 

For riding at night, JRC Reflex® reflective piping has been incorporated along the front and back of the jacket with a large strip across the back of the collar. This innovative material reflects bright white when lit by a pair of headlights, but remains matte black under normal lighting conditions.
